MDTA) Police will host its fifth annual Police Cadet Career Night:

Friday, March 21, 2014
5 - 7:30 p.m.

MDTA Police Headquarters
4330 Broening Highway, Baltimore, MD 21222

"We look forward to hosting this unique recruiting event each year," said MDTA Police Chief Col. Michael T. Kundrat. "This is a fantastic opportunity for high school seniors or recent graduates to learn all about our cadet program and what it has to offer."

Police cadets are young men and women (ages 17-20) who are interested in a career in law enforcement, but are not old enough to become police officers. MDTA Police cadets receive training and work alongside MDTA Police officers until they are eligible to enter the MDTA Police Training Academy.

"The MDTA Police cadet program offers more than a job -- its an excellent opportunity to start a career that offers professional growth and development," said MDTA Police Recruitment Commander 1st Sgt. Arthur Brown. "With our college tuition reimbursement program, MDTA Police cadets have the potential to earn an associate of arts degree upon completion of the MDTA Police Training Academy at age 21."

Following a presentation, a written test will be offered for those who are interested in "Joining the Ranks."
