MDTA POLICE HOLDING SPECIAL EVENT FOR WOMEN TO JOIN THE RANKS

BALTIMORE, MD  The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) Police
will host a Women In Law Enforcement Career Night:

Women Empowering Women
Friday, Nov. 21, 2014
5-7:30 p.m.

Next Fridays career night is a great opportunity for women interested in a career in
law-enforcement, said MDTA Police Chief, Colonel Michael Kundrat. I invite
women to come and learn about the MDTA Police Department and our hiring
process.

The MDTA Police are currently recruiting for Police Cadets (ages 17-20), Police
Officers (21 and older) and Lateral Police Officers (Maryland Police and
Correctional Training Commission certified). Following the Career Night
presentation, a written test session will be offered for those interested in joining the
ranks.

professionals. MDTA Police officers provide law enforcement at the MDTAs highways, bridges and
tunnels; at the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport; and at the Port of
Baltimore.
