BALTIMORE, MD The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) Police will host its fourth Women In Law Enforcement Career Night:

We are pleased to announce our fourth recruiting event for women to learn about a career in law-enforcement with the MDTA Police, said MDTA Police Senior Commander Maj. Michael Kundrat. Women play a vital role in the MDTA Police, and we are looking to recruit the very best.
The MDTA Police are currently recruiting for Police Cadets (ages 17-20), Police Officers (21 and older) and Lateral Police Officers (Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commission certified). Following the Career Night presentation, a written test session will be offered for those interested in joining the ranks.

The Maryland Transportation Authority Police, a nationally accredited force, is the seventh-largest law-enforcement agency in the State, with more than 600 sworn and civilian law-enforcement professionals. MDTA Police officers provide law enforcement at the MDTAs highways, bridges and tunnels; at the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport; and at the Port of Baltimore.
