NEW TRAFFIC PATTERN BEGINS OCT. 29
AT I-95/MD 43 INTERCHANGE EXIT RAMPS
New single exit ramp for eastbound AND westbound MD 43
Exit 67 to replace Exits 67A/B
WHAT: Weather permitting, the exit ramps from northbound and southbound I-95 to eastbound and westbound MD 43 (White Marsh Boulevard) will be converted into a single exit ramp (Exit 67). Currently, traffic exits I-95 to MD 43 via Exits 67A and 67B. The new single exit ramp will direct traffic to a split for either eastbound or westbound MD 43. Please note that access to eastbound and westbound MD 43 (Exit 67) will now come prior to passing under MD 43 on I-95.
WHEN: The exit ramp switch will occur for northbound I-95 in time for Tuesday morning commuters and for southbound I-95 on or about Friday, Nov. 15, after which the new traffic pattern shown below will be in effect.
WHY: The work is part of the reconstruction of the I-95/MD 43 interchange for the MD Transportation Authoritys (MDTA) I-95 Express Toll Lanes (ETLSM) Project.
The new I-95 Express Toll Lanes are expected to open in late 2014. For more information, visit I95ExpressTollLanes.com.
