SINGLE-LANE CLOSURES ON I-695
UNDER QUARANTINE ROAD STARTING TOMORROW NIGHT
WHAT: Weather permitting, one lane on the INNER LOOP or OUTER LOOP of I-695 under Quarantine Road will be temporarily closed for cleaning and painting on the Quarantine Road bridge.
WHEN: Friday, July 12, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, July 15, the INNER LOOP right lane will be temporarily closed to traffic.
Monday, July 15, through Friday, July 19, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, the left lane of the INNER LOOP or OUTER LOOP may be closed to traffic.
Friday, July 19, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, July 22, the OUTER LOOP right lane will be temporarily closed to traffic.
WHY: Crews will be cleaning and painting the Quarantine Road bridge over I-695 as part of the MD Transportation Authority's (MDTA) $3.3 million preservation project to resurface and repair the bridge.
