WORK TO RESULT IN CLOSURES OF RAMP FROM
NORTHBOUND I-95 TO RUSSELL STREET
NEXT FOUR WEEKENDS
Traffic will be detoured to northbound I-395
WHAT: Weather permitting, the ramp from northbound I-95 to Russell Street (Exit 52) will be closed temporarily to traffic.
The detour route will direct motorists to I-395 (Exit 53), to Lee Street, to Russell Street.
WHEN: Closures will occur Fridays from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Mondays, starting Friday, Nov. 7, and continuing on weekends through Monday, Dec. 8. All dates and times are approximate and dependent on weather or events. No closures will occur Nov. 28 through Dec. 1, due to the holiday.
On Nov. 9, the ramp will reopen at 7 a.m. for Baltimore Ravens game.
Closures also are scheduled for Monday, Nov. 10, through Thursday, Nov. 13, between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. the following morning. Please note that additional temporary, overnight closures may occur Mondays through Thursdays between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. the following morning, as necessary.
WHY: Toll Dollars At Work: The ramp closures are part of the Maryland Transportation Authoritys (MDTA) two-year, $66 million project to remove and replace the existing concrete deck (riding) surface and roadway joints on mainline I-95 and the ramps serving I-95 in Baltimore City.
