WORK TO RESULT IN TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF
RAMP FROM SOUTHBOUND I-895 TO
POTEE STREET SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18
WHAT: Weather permitting, the ramp from southbound I-895 to Potee Street (Exit 7) will be closed temporarily to traffic.
The detour route will direct motorists to Frankfurst Avenue (Exit 8), to Hanover Street, to Patapsco Avenue, to Potee Street.
WHEN: Saturday, Oct. 18, from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Due to inclement weather, the closure originally scheduled for Oct. 11 has been rescheduled for this date.
WHY: Toll Dollars At Work. Crews will be performing asphalt work as part of the MD Transportation Authoritys (MDTA) $12.6 million facility preservation project to replace the decks of the I-895 bridges over Patapsco Avenue, Potee Street and Hanover Street.
