All work will be performed weather permitting.  The MDTA urges motorists to drive with caution and obey all traffic-control devices and lane-control signals.  Lane closures are subject to change and closure times are dependent on traffic volumes. 

TOLL DOLLARS AT WORK

Two lanes of the westbound span may be closed Sunday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning and Saturday from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m. the following morning for preservation/maintenance work.

The westbound span may be closed Monday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning and Friday from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. the following morning for preservation/maintenance work.  Two-way traffic will operate on the eastbound span during the full westbound span closures.

One lane of the westbound span may be closed Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for preservation/maintenance work.

One lane of the eastbound span may be closed Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for preservation/maintenance work.  Two-way traffic will operate on the westbound span.

When daytime two-way traffic is in effect on the westbound span, toll lanes 1 through 5, on the left side of the toll plaza, will be directed into contra-flow traffic on the westbound span.  Motorists wishing to use an E-ZPass® Only lane to access the eastbound span should use toll lanes 6 or 9.

OVERNIGHT PERIODIC LANE CLOSURES ON CAMPBELL BOULEVARD IN WHITE MARSH FOR THE WEEK OF FEB. 17 
Improvements part of I-95 Express Toll LanesSM Project

WHAT:  Weather-permitting, construction on the I-95 bridge over Campbell Boulevard during the overnight hours will involve periodic, 15-minute full closures in both directions of Campbell Boulevard between Honeygo Boulevard and Franklin Square Drive.

WHEN:  The full road closures are expected to occur Monday, Feb. 18 through Thursday, Feb. 21 between midnight and 5 a.m. the following morning.  Motorists should expect closures for a period of 15-minute intervals between midnight and 5 a.m.                                               

WHY:  Work is part of the Maryland Transportation Authoritys (MDTA) I-95 Express Toll Lanes (ETLsSM) Project and involves the reconstruction/widening of the existing I-95 bridge over Campbell Boulevard.  Campbell Boulevard will be widened to five lanes -- two lanes in each direction and a new center left-turn lane into Nottingham Square -- for improved traffic flow.  Campbell Boulevard. 

The Campbell Boulevard improvements are part of the $142.6 million project underway by Cherry Hill Construction of Jessup, Md., to reconstruct the I-95/MD 43 (White Marsh Boulevard) interchange.  The entire I-95 ETLs Project is expected to be complete in 2014.   For more information, visit I95ExpressTollLanes.com.

Facility: (I-895) Baltimore Harbor Tunnel

(I-895) Baltimore Harbor Tunnel Closures for the Week of February 19, 2013

The Eastbound Tunnel is scheduled to be closed at 8:00pm on the evenings of February 19, 20, and 21, 2013 for inspections, and maintenance operations.  Re-opening is scheduled to take place at 4:30am the following mornings.

This is a tentative schedule that is subject to change at any time with little notice due to weather, traffic conditions, emergency incidents, or priority closures.
