CLEANING & PAINTING WORK BEGINS ON I-95 BRIDGE OVER MD 824
WHAT: Weather permitting, MD 824 (Blythedale Road) under I-95 in Cecil County, MD will be continuously closed (24/7) to traffic for cleaning and painting of the I-95 bridge over MD 824.
The detour route will direct motorists to MD 222 (Perryville Road).
WHEN: On or about Monday, July 15, to Wednesday, August 21.
WHY: The work is part of the MD Transportation Authority's (MDTA) $6 million preservation project to clean and paint the structural steel on 11 overpass bridges along the John F. Kennedy Memorial Highway (I-95) in Baltimore, Cecil and Harford counties.
