WORK TO RESULT IN CLOSURE OF RAMP FROM
NORTHBOUND I-95 TO RUSSELL STREET
Traffic will be detoured to northbound I-395
WHAT: Weather permitting, the ramp from northbound I-95 to Russell Street (Exit 52) will be closed temporarily to traffic. The detour route will direct motorists to I-395 (Exit 53), to Lee Street, to Russell Street.
WHEN: Closure will occur Friday, Dec. 19, at 10 p.m. to Monday, Dec. 22, at 5 a.m. All dates and times are approximate and dependent on weather or events.
WHY: Toll Dollars At Work: The ramp closure is part of the Maryland Transportation Authority's (MDTA) two-year, $66 million project to remove and replace the existing concrete deck (riding) surface and roadway joints on mainline I-95 and the ramps serving I-95 in Baltimore City.
