Witnesses Asked to Call 410-537-1209

BALTIMORE, Md. (April 30, 2024) – The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) Police Collison Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal crash that occurred Monday afternoon in Baltimore City. On April 29, at 12:40 p.m., MDTA Police Officers assigned to the Central Command Detachment responded to the ramp from southbound I-395 to southbound I-95.

Responding officers determined a black Kawasaki motorcycle had been involved in a single-vehicle crash. The Baltimore City Fire Department recovered the victim who was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

This is an open and ongoing investigation. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call the MDTA Police at 410-537-1209.

The Maryland Transportation Authority Police, a nationally accredited force, is the eighth-largest law enforcement agency in the State with more than 500 sworn and civilian law enforcement professionals. MDTA Police Officers provide law enforcement services at the MDTA’s highways, bridges, and tunnels, at BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport, and at the Port of Baltimore.
