RESURFACING TO RESULT IN TEMPORARY

OVERNIGHT LANE CLOSURES ON

THOMAS J. HATEM BRIDGE (US 40) NEXT WEEK

 

 

WHAT:          The westbound Thomas J. Hatem Memorial Bridge (US 40) will be closed temporarily to traffic. The detour route will direct motorists to MD 222, to southbound I-95.

 

Note: There is no toll in the southbound direction at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Highway (I-95) toll plaza.

 

One lane of the eastbound Thomas J. Hatem Memorial Bridge (US 40) will be closed temporarily to traffic. Traffic drags may also occur, during which police will bring vehicles to a reduced pace prior to the work zone.

 

WHEN:          Weather permitting, the westbound Thomas J. Hatem Memorial Bridge (US 40) will be closed Sunday, June 24, through Tuesday, June 26, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.

 

Weather permitting, one lane of the eastbound Thomas J. Hatem Memorial Bridge (US 40) will be closed Monday, June 25, through Friday, June 29, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.

 

Weather permitting, one lane of the eastbound Thomas J. Hatem Memorial Bridge (US 40) will be closed Sunday, July 1, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning (Rain date).

 

WHY:             Crews will be performing roadway resurfacing.
