I-695 Southeast Preservation - Home

As part of MDTA's preservation program to enhance safety and reliability along the I-695 corridor in Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Anne Arundel County the MDTA is initiating multiple projects for rehabilitating critical infrastructure, including bridges, roadways, and support facilities, to ensure long-term functionality and resilience.

News/What's New

  • Beginning January 6, weather permitting, the entrance ramp from Bethlehem Boulevard to the I-695 Outer Loop will be closed.
  • I-695 Outer Loop through traffic must exit onto MD 158/Bethlehem Boulevard and return to the Outer Loop at the North Point Boulevard on-ramp.
  • A portion of the southeast I-695 Outer Loop remains closed beginning at Exit 43. • Access to I-695 Outer Loop from Broening Highway remains open via existing turnaround; there is no stopping or parking along the loop road.

While you're attending the hearing and reviewing the Draft Environmental Impact Statement and MDTA’s Recommended Preferred Alternative (Alternative C), we’ll be available to answer questions and provide helpful information about traveling Maryland roadways.
