MDTA POLICE INVESTIGATING SERIOUS CRASH ON I-95 IN BALTIMORE

Witnesses Asked to Call 410-916-7532

 

BALTIMORE, Md. (October 4, 2023) – The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) Police Collison Reconstruction Unit is investigating a serious crash that occurred Tuesday night in Baltimore City. On October 3, at 8:28 p.m., MDTA Police Officers assigned to the Central Command Detachment responded to northbound I-95 just past Exit 51 (Washington Blvd.) for a reported crash involving a pedestrian.

The preliminary investigation suggests a dark green Nissan sedan became disabled in the roadway. When the driver of the Nissan exited the vehicle, they were struck by a black Mercedes sedan. The driver of the Mercedes remained at the scene. The driver of the Nissan was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries

Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call the MDTA Police at 410-916-7532.
