MDTA POLICE INVESTIGATING SUSPECTED SHOOTING AT VEHICLE ALONG 

I-95 IN BALTIMORE

Witnesses Asked to Call 410-537-6700

BALTIMORE (February 15, 2026) – The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) Police is investigating a suspected shooting that occurred this morning in Baltimore City. At approximately 10:45 a.m., the driver of a grey Chevrolet sedan was traveling northbound on I-95 near Hanover Street (Exit 54), when the driver reported being shot at by the driver of a light blue passenger vehicle. No injuries were reported.

This is an open and ongoing investigation. The MDTA Police Criminal Investigations Unit continues to collect and review various pieces of evidence.

Anyone who observed suspicious activity near northbound I-95 at Exit 54 is asked to contact the MDTA Police at 410-537-6700.
